Jana S Johnston

Jana transitioned into the practice of law from the field of social services. Prior to joining Mullen & Henzell, she was the Director of Fiduciary Services for a private social service agency specializing in aging and elder care issues such as incapacity, elder abuse, and conservatorship and trust administration.

 

Jana’s litigation practice primarily involves probate and real property litigation, but includes a broad range of business litigation. She also advises clients in various real property transactional and estate planning matters. She represents real property owners, agents, and brokers, advising them on their rights and duties, as well as protecting and defending their interests in litigation. Jana’s practice involves significant probate litigation in which she represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in contested matters. She counsels and assists her clients in an effort to resolve disputes in the most pragmatic and cost-effective manner and to avoid litigation when possible. When necessary, however, Jana is a strong advocate for her clients in all stages of litigation, and has tried several matters successfully.
